hi i have a macbook pro 13 late 2009. there is something really weird about this problem. my keyboard doesn't work only a couple of keys like eject volume shift ... and the track pad when i click it always registers a secondary click this is when I'm running mac osx lion. so today i tried installing abuntu on my computer and my keyboard and trackpad work fine on linux .. what can it be?? how come it won't work on mac osx ? / ? i would appreciate if any one can help me out with this problem. thanks .

Ubuntu may be handling stuck keys differently. Doesn't mean your keyboard is good. Sounds like your control key may be stuck.

hi thanks for the help .. what do you mean by stuck control key ??? how can i fix that ?

It means just what it sounds like. The key is stuck in the pressed state. You fix it by replacing the keyboard.
