Do you guys think that Apple would release a firmware update for the Mini Display port so that it can send both Audio and Video through a single cable on a late 2009 13" MBP?
They have done it on the New MBP but yeah it sucks to connect/carry 2 cables all the time on my MBP I bought in Oct 2009 :(
 
I think it's very unlikely. Apple do not really have a history of enabling features on old products. They prevented video spanning on iBooks for years despite hacks enabling it.

Then in that case lets hope for a hack that would enable both Audio and video from the Mini Display port...
