A number of us have updated our old 2008 MacBooks and 2009 MacBook Pros to High Sierra using a patched installer, since High Sierra is not officially supported. Everything works perfectly, except a few videos are garbled, in a weird stair step pattern.

These machines either have nVidia GeForce 9400M or else 9600M. However, I note this GPU is shared by the officially supported Late 2009 white MacBook6,1. We were wondering if these videos work fine on MacBook6,1 with High Sierra.

Somebody has reported in that thread that indeed the late 2009 white MacBook6,1 is also affected. If you have this model MacBook, with nVidia GeForce 9400M, I suggest you send Apple feedback.
