Late 2011 MacBook Pro 17" Refurb w/ 7200 not available?

I have been looking for a while for the October 2011 17" 2.4 + 4GB Antiglare w/ 7200 hdd (Model: Z0NG). However I have yet to see one pop in the store at all.

Any speculation on the reason for all the other model options being available but not that one?

Probably not a common model? Just buy the one with a 5400 and swap it out for a 7200 and sell the 5400.

According to refurb.me there isn't a model with that config offered in the refurb store. Looks like the best you'll be able to do is the early 2011 2.2 HR AG with the 7200RPM drive.

Either that or just buy the late 2011 5400 model and install your own HDD.

Yeah, I saw that none of the refurb.me or similar tracking sites have that model listed. But I am pretty sure that they don't show up there until a link goes active and that model is offered. I remember that from watching when the Feb 2011 models started showing up on the site.

Yeah, best bet is to install faster HDD, or an SSD by oneself. Are you waiting for the refresh??
