my Late 2011 MacBook Pro (base model upgraded to 8 GB of RAM, OS X Yosemite) repeatedly has issues while verified it's hard disk. Every time I verify the disk I get an "Invalid Volume free block count" error. And the free block count is always much lower than it should be. Thus I need to boot into recovery to fix it, and it does fix it and I get some space back, but this keeps happening and I can't seem to figure out what it is and get a permanent fix for it.

Also, this time when I did it (before I wrote this post), it took away space. I had 211 GB free and now I only have 175 free. It told me that free block count should have been 42243834 instead of 38589657.
