Late 2011 MBP Randomly Shuts Down

Hello,

I have a late 2011 MBP and today it just randomly shut down twice in a 2-3 hour period. The first time was while I was playing music through iTunes and the second time i noticed it turned off when I went to use it again (I thought it was sleeping but it was off). Both times I had it plugged in charging and the battery was at 98-100% and I also had my iPad Air plugged in charging. How do I fix this? I do not have AppleCare and my MBP is over 2 years old. Also has this happened to anyone else?
