So first off, as many people have pointed out, my iMac has severe image retention issues. Anyone have a fix?

Second, whenever I boot up my computer and get to the login screen, there's some severe lag when trying to log in. I have no password, so when I press "enter" nothing happens. If I put my iMac to sleep and it goes to the login screen, same thing.

The difference between booting up and awaking after sleeping is this:

Booting Up: The computer recognizes the keyboard if I turn it on and off, but it doesn't recognize anything when I type or press enter. The only way I've gotten around it is to press the power button to put it to sleep at the login screen and then spam the enter key. I would do this process over and over again until it works.

Awaking after sleeping: It recognizes the keyboard and its inputs. When I press 'enter' it recognizes that I've entered something (the password bar goes gray), but the computer does not unlock.

Getting frustrated! Anyone else having issues?
