DO NOT BUY an x5 -- it WILL NOT WORK unless you have thunderbolt3 ports (and you don't have them) !!!
The PNY drive may work, but it will only give you USB3 speeds:
430mpbs reads
330-360mpbs writes
A Samsung t5 would do the job. For backup and movie storage, this is "all that you need".
Or else buy a "bare" 2.5" drive (any one will do) and a USB3 2.5" enclosure like this:
