Late 2012 iMac and windows 8/8.1

Hello,
i own a late 2012 27" i7 680MX 24 Gb 1 Tb fusion drive iMac.
Would like to install windows with bootcamp mainly to play Flight Simulator X (i already own it), and other games.
Just want to know if there are any major issues with windows 8/8.1 and the late 2012 iMac (drivers, sound issues, graphic card issues, usb 3, etc)?

Windows 8.1 works great with the late 2012 iMac. However, be aware of compatibility issues with some older games (2-3 years or more) and D3Doverrider - the only program that will give you triple buffered vsync in all directX games. I would research the games you would like to play first, and see if they work well with Windows 8/8.1.
