Late 2012 Retina MBP have glass?

According to this iFixit report on the Late 2013 rMBP.

The display assembly is completely fused, and there’s no glass protecting it. If anything ever fails inside the display, you will need to replace the entire, extremely expensive assembly.

What are they talking about? Does it really not have any glass?

It does. Just not the double-glazing from pre-retina-era.

yes but it has a lot less glare...

I think that iFixit meant that the glass is glued onto the LCD instead of just to the frame. That means that if the LCD dies, you can't separate it from the glass; you need to replace both.
