Late 2013 13" MacBook retina advice

Hey guys

I need some quick advice, I am planning to get a 13" retina for my return back to studies next year. My MacBook expectations are for emailing, surfing the web, running MS office even next years version and playing casual games like brutal legend, toki tori 2.

That said would I have to update anything in the MacBook like memory or is not necessary as I will get many years from an out of box configuration.

Good rule of thumb to follow - max out the ram, on the rMBPs you cannot upgrade the ram so max it now so you won't regret it in the future.
