Bolton, UK.
Where can I get some screen protectors from in the UK?
On ebay uk they only appear to have them for earlier models

Barney

All that I have managed to find are ones bundled with a case from Hong Kong.
Surely they are a common consumable.

I found many alternatives in ebay.co.uk with the search "13 retina screen protector". A couple were from Hong Kong, but many from the UK too.

Keep in mind, that the 2012 and 2013 13" rMBP screens are the exact same size, so any protector said to be compatible with the 2012 model will fit the 2013 model too.

On some of the listings it highlights Only for A1425.
Are you sure they are the same?

This may not be from the uk but this is what I'm using for my 15" late 2013 Rmbp

The only crappy part is that it is a wet install so you have to be really careful.

The screen dimensions are exactly the same, so I don't know why they would claim they are incompatible.

But if they specifically say so, then avoid those products.

Is the reason for screen protector the keyboard scuffing the screen? Does it really happen?
I have a rMBP13 (Haswell), and so far I kept the wiping cloth between them all times. I'd hate to place a reflective screen protector on a very good screen. I did on all my past laptop screens.

I use it so I don't have to worry about damaging the screen by repeatedly cleaning it. I hate seeing dust on it so wipe it often.
I've had no problems with the keyboard touching it.

It does for me. It's annoying as hell, as I love to keep my stuff clean.
