My 15' retina with a Core i7 2.7GHZ, 16GB of ram and 512GB SSD randomly shuts on and off all the time. What should I do? I do have applecare if that means anything.

Can you detail if any particukar usage triggers the random restarts? Do you get any kernel panics do check in the console for logs. The console can be found in the utilities folder.

It just randomly occurs, nothing in particular to make it do it. What in the console should I be looking for?

There will be logs you can see on the left. See for anything like kernel panics. Post a screen shot of the console so i can be able to help better. ( currently without my retina) Apart from this is anything connected to your macbook when the issue occurs?
