Late 2013 15" rMBP- anyone else's audio "Balance" settings changing on reboot?

I keep noticing that the sound is louder out of one side, and having to go in and fix these. I had this problem on my Powerbook G4 17-inch back in like 2003, but never a recent Mac.

Strange, and slightly annoying... although I have gotten used to noticing it now and fixing it. I saw some other threads about peoples' left speakers being louder than the right ... so I'm kind of like ??? about the audio on these, because even with the balance centered I think the left speaker is still louder.

I just changed "HAS" to "Broad" on the label...

This actually happens sometimes on my late 2011 MBP 17" under 10.7.5.
