My 2013 27' iMac, 3.2 GHz Core i5 isn't in the list of compatible Mac's for Big Sur but if I go to the Big Sur download page on the App Store it tells me it is compatible.

So do I try an update to Big Sur or not?

I have the same imac14,2 with fusion drive and have found this on reasoning it is the Thunderbolt 1 (not TB2)
and also the following surmises that the performace on this fusion drive was reported to be poor with Big Sur:

I don't know, but please let us know your experience if you give it a try and also if you needed to patch anything to get by 'unsupported' or if the App store just goes ahead and installs. I see the same "Works with this Mac" under the Compatiblily on the App store page.
