Hello,

I got a 15“ Late 2013 rMBP (with the extra GFX card) on its last legs including a bad battery and I can exchange it for free with the basic 15“ Mid 2015 rMBP (only integrated graphics).

My rMBP has the 500 Gb SSD, the newer one has only 240 GB. RAM is identical.

Can I just swap the SSD modules? Would there be any disadvantage?
I think I don’t need the extra GFX any longer since I only use it for music production but I wish to get updates and I think the resale value is also higher of the newer one. (Will probably get the new MBP next year)

Is that possible? Thanks for your help!
