Hi,
I have a new iMac 21.5 Late 2013 with 1Tb HDD and I want to install an SSD into it. What are my options? Is this SSD compatible with my iMac?
Of course I always can replace internal HDD with SSD but what I want is to preserve HDD in.

Not sure. The PCIe SSDs that Apple uses are Samsung XP941s.

It's going to be hell if you're going to try to add/replace the hard drive yourself.

You have chosen SSD for iMac late 2012. The iMac late 2013 use ssd from Mac Book Air mid-2013

As long as you don't care about your warranty go ahead, once you open the thing up the warranty is probably history.
