So I just upgraded the SSD in my late 2013 iMac 27" (EMC 2639) and I've lost the order of the antenna cables. I did the tape trick like most guides show but since I was waiting a few days for parts the tape lost its hold overnight. I was primarily using 2 guides as reference. The OWC YouTube video which is great and the ifixit web guide with high res photos. HOWEVER, both guides show the antenna wires in different orders for this model.

Mainly the left 2 cables are reversed in the media for 2 guides. I've tried looking at other guides for reference but none of the ones I could find show the cables clearly enough. So which one is correct? Does it matter? The left 2 cables seem to go to very different looking antennas. Anyway I've got mine hooked up in the order that's shown in the ifixit photo and my wifi and bluetooth seem to work fine so far but that's not 100% certainty they are going to their optimal antennae.

I don’t think this particularly matters to be honest. The Wi-Fi card should be designed to accommodate many different system configurations with different antenna designs and shapes (even number of antennas). The worst outcome would be that you have reduced signal or transmit power, but everything should still work as intended.
