Hi everyone. I have a 2009 iMac and i'm in need of an upgrade. I wasn't too happy with the latest updates yesterday. I love all my ports.
I came across a used late 2013 13in Macbook Pro Retina 2.4ghz i5, intel irs 1536, 16gb ram and 256gb ssd. the cycle count on the power information says "12" from the pics. He stated he has used it about 15 times max. Theres plenty of pics and he is local. I can view it and have the serial checked. He wants $850 and wont come down on the price. I even offered $800. I'm trying to compare prices on other for sale items as well as ebay and nothing is close, not even the refurb store.
Is this a good deal for what is currently a 3 year old macbook? Obviously i can probably turn around and dump my 09 iMac for 300-400 possibly. I was looking to add dual 23in monitors as well making the laptop a desktop. I dont want another imac and it seems as if the mac mini is going to be gone from the lineup.
