Haven't really found any good solutions to this. Every time my late 2013 Macbook pro goes to sleep, it disconnects wifi, which is a huge problem if I'm trying to download files.

My old 2007 Macbook didn't do this when it went to sleep. I like that the computer goes to sleep when it's not being used because it saves battery, but the disconnecting from wifi is a huge issue.

Anyone know how to get this to stop so that it stays connected to wifi.

Maybe go to Energy Saver in System Preference and check the box "Enable power nap" on both battery and power.

Yeah, that's one of the things I already did, but it will still disconnect from wifi.

So you expect a laptop to go to sleep, and still do everything it does when it's not sleeping?

That's hilarious.
