My wifi on my laptop is not working.

Steps I have taken
- Replaced Airport Card
- Reinstalled OS
- System resets

Looks like there may have been some water damage, but its odd that the Bluetooth still works on the machine.

Anyhow, I am using a usb wifi card and I can get to the internet fine, but I am not able sign into Itunes with my icloud device. It gives me a message that this computer can not be verified.

I have tried to use a thunderbolt to Ethernet and get the same message.

Is there some type of restriction that you must use on-board wifi to get authorized for Icloud?

No there is no such requirement.. based on the info you have provided so far I suggest restarting your router, and/or trying a different network connection. I have seen routers cause this issue with Apple ID verification

I get this error if I'm connected at home or even at work. Wifi or Ethernet connection it doesn't seem to matter.
