So I have a Apple MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.3 15" Late 2013 (DG) that three motnhs ago experienced a GFX card failure, resulting in Apple replacing the logic board over the course of 7 business days. Covered by applecare, no big deal.

Problem is, today the same exact thing happened again. I have actually been using the machine only half an hour a day or so since the logic board replacement, so having it fail again under such light use is a bit alarming.

I have no doubt that they will take care of it for free, it's just a pain in the ass and I was wondering what experiences you guys had in getting them to do a total machine replacement. Frankly, I have no desire to go through the song and dance again, only to have the logic board need replaced a third time three months down the road.

Any tips or experiences?

Thanks everyone..

I believe if you need to come back 2/3 times for the same issue then they will give you a new machine.
