I opened my laptop after travelling yesterday and saw this odd discolouration on the top left hand side of the screen
Is the LCD itself damaged? it doesn't appear to be a backlight issue. It wasn't doing this before I had to put my laptop through the security screening at the airport. Is this physical damage (ie: it was dropped/hit) or something else? I assume that if it is damaged, my only recourse is replacing the entire display?
