Managed to drop a screwdriver that managed to bounce a good 3 feet and connect pointy end first with my open MacBook Pro. I have a scratch on the screen, but the display works perfectly. I'm not familiar with the construction of the screen, so I'm wondering if it's simply a glare screen that I've damaged. A little help please on the construction question, and if repair is possible, a pointer to a reliable source for parts. This is a late 2013, 15" retina display.

Thanks,
Mike

Normally I'm a DIY person, but I probably wouldn't try to replace the screen unless I got the whole assembly. It's glued together. I'd either live with it, buy a new display assembly online, or have apple replace it.

I'm good with buying the entire assembly, if they can be had.
