So sometimes at night I'll close the lid on my rMBP.
when I open it in the morning the computer has turned off at some point overnight. I have to hit the power button and it comes back on. After I log in, I get an error box saying something along the lines "An error occurred and the computer shut down unexpectedly... do you want to open the windows you had open...,etc"
I tried the Apple diagnostics test where you hold down "D" during boot up and it does not find any errors.
any thoughts on what my issue could be?
Would it be worth it to wipe the HD and reinstall Yosemite?
I never had Apple Care and with a late 2013 model I am obviously outside of the "take it to Apple" window.
I was in the beta Yosemite program. I was worried in the past I was still getting beta updates which I did not want anymore. At one point in system preferences you could check box that you did not want beta updates but that option seems to be gone for me now.
