Been doing a lot of 4K editing in Final Cut.

I currently have a Late 2015 iMac, with a 3.2 i5, 24gb ram, 1TBB, and am using a 256 SSD to boot from. Have been using it for 1.5 years and bought it refurbished from Apple.

I can probably sell online for about $800.

I have an opportunity to buy a Late 2014 iMac, with a 4.0 i7, 32gb ram, 3TB fusion drive. It has been on a three-year business lease (not used by me or anyone I know) and well maintained by an IT crew. Can buy it for $800.

Thoughts. Should I upgrade to the i7 here?

I'd expect you can get a good deal more than $800 for yours, as well - at least based on what I see on my local Craigslist. Thinking tentatively about picking one up myself!
