Bought a new MacBook Pro with touch bar the past December, and late last week it wouldn't turn on and didn't show any signs of life. Took it in to the Genius Bar and it's been shipped off for repair. I'm hoping if the issue is significant I can just get a new machine. Has anyone else had and major repairs done on this new model and how did it turn out? Thanks!

It's exceedingly unlikely they'll give you a new machine instead of just repairing yours. Only reason would be if they had to replace every part in your computer (cost effective) or if there was somehow a parts shortage.
