Late 2016 MBP w/ touchbar. Screen repair

Just shelled out $680 to replace my cracked screen that I have no idea how it cracked on me. I read a lot of post online with similar stories. Getting it back today, and wondering if I should sell it and get an iMac. I shelled out 2800+ for this MBP. What do you think?

What model did you have and how extensive was the damage? I had my mid-2014 screen crack under no pressure, I didn't drop it etc. Went to Apple, showed them the small crack which was causing the bottom of my screen to have static and I got it replaced for free under warranty.

Nah Apple did not give a free repair. It’s a late 2016 MBP w/touch bar 15”.
