Late rMBP 15 Save State when battery runs out

Hi I have a Late 2013 15" rMBP and I also run VMFusion for my VMs.

I have noticed that when the battery runs out and I turn it back on its a full clean startup and I've lost the state of my VMs.

In Windows it will save the state of the machine when battery goes.

Is there a way to get it to do the same in OSX

I've run

Code: 
pmset -g | grep hibernatemode
and it returns
