For some reason, I can't install the latest update of Flash. It keeps telling me that Safari is closed; it is closed. I even restarted my computer and tried installing it without opening any applications, but it still tells me that Safari is open and needs to be closed.

What gives?

Same problem here and terminal says "No matching processes belonging to you were found"

Open up a terminal session and type:

killall Safari

Hit the return key and all Safari processes should be purged. Then try the update.

Like the user above, I do get the same output from Terminal. I still can't install it; I have the latest OS update.

Same here. Any luck on getting it installed yet?
