Recently I updated Firefox for OS X (Yosemite) from version 35 (I think) to version 38.0.1.

When I load the browser everything is fine, but after using the browser not for long I start getting glitchy pixelated squares all over the window!:

- When I scroll up/down they show up all over
-When I hover the mouse pointer over a link, the bottom left link display is pixelated and distorted.

Any ideas on how to fix this? Never had this sort of issue with Firefox before....

Thanks!

I have 38.0.1 running without a problem on 3 different Apples.
But I never made the move from 35; in fact I have it upgrade itself
since I run on Apple, so I can't compare to your situation.

I think it's best to remove FireFox from /Applications and make
a fresh start with a download from:

https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/

Success!
