I've been using Beas Solo3 Wireless for 8 months and I had zero issues with it. It has a firmware version of 7.0.8 which is released in June 2017, and it has not got an update since. However, Apple released firmware updates for all headphones including AirPods Gen. 1 (from 6.7.8 to 6.8.8), AirPods Gen. 2 (from 1A691 to 2A364 - first major update), and all Beats headphones with W1 chip. Anyway, Apple bumps the version of Beats Solo3 Wireless from 7.0.8 to 7.7.2, and this is the first update for Solo3 since 2017.
When I see there is an update for Beats devices, I plugged my device to charger and connect it to my iPhone. This should have update the device to the latest firmware version without requiring any action thanks to the W1 chip inside.
When charging complete, I disconnected the charging cable and tried to connect headphone to my iPhone. It failed! For the first time in 8 months, my iPhone said "Unable to connect to Beats Solo3 Wireless". I turned off the headphone and turn it on again. It kept failing. Tried to connect it to my Mac. Connection failed again. Interestingly, I was unable to turn off the headphone this time. Then, I reset the device by holding the power+volume down buttons for 10 seconds. I also removed the device from my iPhone and my Mac. And the magical pairing interface appeared on my iPhone. I paired and started to use it for an hour. Then I turned it off when I am done with listening music. After few hours, I turned it back on to listen some music, the same problem has returned!
I removed the device from my iPhone and my Mac by using "forget device". I did hard reset by holding the power button for 20 seconds. Paired it again with my devices. It started to work again. The issue has returned when I turn it off and turn it on again. I have to reset my headphone every time I want to use it.
Interestingly, the firmware version is not changed and it is 7.0.8.
Beats Updater app says the latest version is 7.0.8 but that is not the case. The XML file from Apple servers shows the latest version 7.7.2 and I check this file once week to see if there is an update.
I saw the update for AirPods Gen.2 by checking XML file and did the same steps. My AirPods Gen.2 received the update 2A364 and there is no problem.

Is there anyone who received the update 7.7.2? I think my device failed to install the update and it broke the connection.
