Did a quick search and didn't find anything under mac applications, so...here I am asking for help!
The latest iChat update that's supposed to renew the .Mac certificate won't "stick" on my stock 17" C2D MBP -- after I install the upate and restart as instructed, the update reappears in Software Update as if I had never installed it. The update reappears after either shut down or restart, and I have already tried repairing permissions and THEN reinstalling the update. Additionally, when I try to enter a video chat with a friend (Macbook C2D or iMac G5 w/ built-iSight, both with update successfully installed), we get a communication error and cannot successfully video chat...I presume this is because I don't have the update installed...The error only appears on the computer that initiated the video chat, and the video chat window on the receiving end will just freeze.
Is anyone else experiencing this problem, and does anyone possibly have a solution?
Thanks in advance for any help...
