Latest iMac have haswell?

I plan on getting the new iMac 27", if I order one now, will it be haswell or ivy bridge?

Also should I wait for the new refresh, I am hoping to see an iMac with retina screen.

haswell has not been announced for iMac. If you order one now you'll get ivy brige.
haswell is thought to be coming in October for iMac/MBPs, but not definite.
I can't imagine a "retina" screen on an iMac yet.

The iMac 27" technically has the highest res display you can get on any desktop (most 27" monitors are 2560x1440). A Retina screen would wear thin on modern GPUs.

Also, Haswell is not that of an improvement performance-wise.

As adder says, Haswell is not much performance improvement. This is particularly true for a desktop that is plugged in all the time.

Well I returned the 15" mbp and ordered a custom iMac online. Hope I made the right decision. The only thing I like about the mbp was the retina display, but I experienced sluggish scrolling with it.
