I have a 4Lane Express34 card right in front of me.
I heard the older Mac Book Pro is 1Lane speed and the latest Mac Book Pro is 4Lane speed.
1Lane up to 250MB/s, 4 Lane, 1GB/s
Difference, HUGE.
I am helping a company test out a solution.
They can put a Desktop PCI-e card to a Laptop by using this device.
however, the MBP i have is older version which is limited to 250MB/s and in the reality, it gave me around 220MB/s
