Hi All,

I've just got the bluetooth magic keyboard for the MBA.

Early days.

1st impressions is
1. It is tiny and uber skinny!
2. Easy setup when wired in
3. No drop out yet - over 5ghz wifi

One thing I noticed though - the keys rattle a lot, e.g. when I simply skim my finger tips over them.

My MBA keyboard does not do this.

Is this normal?
Is it just because such a tiny slip of a keyboard?
It does make the keyboard seem, well cheap and insubstantial.
Be interesting to see if it can last the test of time, like its previous versions.

Hope you guys can advise :)

Martin

Hi all,

Well, I've been using the MK for the last week.

The rattling has stopped. It seems like the keyboards needed some 'breaking in' so the keys at the start seemed a bit wayward and mounted loosely.

I am still getting use to the keyboard.

I have to say though, the MK on the M1 MBA is much better in my opinion:

1. The keys seem more precise, weighted and substantial. Perhaps its because the keyboard is housed in the laptop, with backlighting per key etc.

2. Also, I much prefer the inverted 'T' for the arrow keys on the MBA.

Kind regards
Martin
