Has anyone heard any specific updates on when AT&T plans to have MMS up and running for the iPhone? I have found a few articles that suggest "mid-July" instead of the end of the summer. But no firm dates. I've also heard that many of the "workarounds" only last temporarily as AT&T pushes a sweep to disable the changes. Also... I've heard the negatives of the workarounds such as losing Visual Voicemail.

Anyone heard anything??

Everything you're heard is the same thing we've all heard. No one knows!
 
I spoke to the AT&T CEO and he said it will be released tomorrow. I also spoke to Steve Jobs and he confirmed this as well. Free tethering will also be availabe at the same time.
 
Ah, another thread that I thought was a statement of fact with some solid info on AT&T and MMS. Instead it's just another post asking a question sans a question mark.

Oh, the poor question mark, why are you so often neglected?

well yeah pretty much a repeat of what we've all heard, except idk about the work around thing, there a really good thread around here that helps and mines been working for longer than a week, with tethering and VVM

I didn't see you in this meeting with the big wigs. That's exactly what they said, I'm tethering from a dunkin donuts while I write this. :D

Late summer which by the way means august/september
 
If you guys had more informative answers in your previous posts instead of all the back and forth whining... then maybe I wouldn't have asked again.

It also goes to show that, again, nobody knows. If they did, it would be a sticky.

You cant get mad at what is being said here. Not to be rude but dont you think its would be common sense that if there was any real information on this, it would be stickied to the top of the forum?
