Latest Safari Update

Hey guys, something weird just happened. Once i installed the latest safari update and the computer restarted, my date settings were changed to December 31, 2000. Also, random programs popped up, asking if i should allow or deny them. As well, i was disconnected from the internet. I'm not quite sure what has caused this. If anyone cares to fill me in, i would gladly appreciate.

If anyone cares to fill me in, i would gladly appreciate.

The same thing happened to me. None of my networks were remembered anymore, and my date was reset. Safari also quit after a few minutes of being open, my screen turned blue, and all my apps were quit.
I decided to just reformat, as I was planning on reinstalling OS X fresh soon anyway. It is working fine now.
