Latest version of IOS bug

I recently downloaded the latest IOS on my Iphone5 and now for some reason, I'm not getting text or phone call audible alerts even though my phone isn't set to silent and in settings, everything appears ok. Anyone else have this problem or have any suggestions? TIA

have you made sure your notification settings are set with notification sounds on? try rebooting. i havent seen anyone else complain about this issue before at all.

Is your Do not Disturb turned on? You can turn this off from Control Center...is there a moon shown in your status bar?

Geez, the manual and repeat calls was set to ON. I don't think I have been in there but anyway...
