LaTeX on the new MBA

Anyone installed LaTeX on a new MBA (particularly the 11")?

Rather ignorantly, I'm guessing that typesetting to PDF should now fairly scream along as all the LaTeX packages aren't haven't to be retrieved from a hard drive. Is that right?

I know people who typeset on Atom-based netbooks without trouble, so you should be fine.
