My wife has an iPhone 3G and she has been using Longitude since it came out but it looks like it stopped working this past weekend. Looks like it will never work again as they don't support it anymore. Looking at the official Latitude app, it can do backgrounding but looks like it won't on the 3G. Is there another apps or way to the official app to work in the background or another app that will do this in the background? My wife and I both use Latitude a lot. She also doesn't want to upgrade her iPhone. I tried many times and she just won't upgrade it. She says hers is fine how it is.
