Launch day iPhone 5 and October iPhone 5

So just received my replacement Black iPhone 5, the newer one has a different shade of black coating, its more blue, is this normal?

The vibration on the newer is less noticeable, is this normal too?

First iPhone - Production week: 35 (September)
New iPhone - Production week: 39 (September)

more blue? sounds like the lighting you are in.


my original was 34, replacement 39 looks the same.

I stacked one on top of the other, definitely a difference.

I had my iPhone 5 replaced this week and I noticed this as well. I think Apple went back oscillating vibrator(in the 4S) with the latest batch. The vibrate is now more subtle, and doesn't rattle.

Can you please post some pics? There's not reason why you shouldn't, unless you're making all this up.
