Launch day iPhone 7 PLUS's out of stock in US only or worldwide?

I'm disappointed in my Canadian service provider in failing to ship my iPhone 7 Plus 256gb Jet Black in time for launch day, even though I was #3 in line.

The news just came out that all iPhone 7 Plus color variants are all out of stock and my question is... does this only apply in US or Canada? Or worldwide?

That's going to suck for the few people waiting in line for a few days now to get the first phones here in Australia. I know a couple who had planned the Jet Black 7+ in 128GB sizes and are in the first 10 or so in line.

From what I have been told there will be no Jet Black on Friday.

In fact if you do not have a phone reserved for Friday, you are wasting your time in line as there will be few if any walk in iphones to buy much less Jet Black.

Woke up at 3:00AM, order done by 3:03.. Nothing to show for it.. I curse  & Jet Black right now..
