I purchased through Verizon

1. 
   If I want to add applecare+ (I live 100+ miles from the nearest apple store) can I call them when I receive my product to add it?

• In order to activate my new phone, do I just have to call Verizon and have them set that up over the phone or do I have to go into the Verizon store?

   Not sure

• 
  The phone should come with instructions on how to activate it yourself. If you have any problems, you can call customer service. You don't need to go to a store.
