i would love to know too. i cancelled my order of 42 mm SG BSB so someone else can get a watch. this product "launch" has made me look at apple another way and it will be a long good time before i buy anything else from them. they are really going to let a ton of loyal customers down.

Why? The watch they ordered comes with a band. Waiting a bit longer for a different band isn't a big deal.

Exactly, it's a personalised device which is going to be on your wrist most of the day so it's important - in most people's opinion - to get a band which is most suited to your personal preferences.
