Launch pad should act more like widgets.

Is there a way to add, and hide apps in launchpad? It acts more like the actual app folder than a useful tool for launching apps. It should have a little "plus, subtract" thing in the corner so you can customize what's there.

Why have apps in the dock and luanch pad? And what about those random utility apps you never use?

I just throw them in a folder for now.

A launchpad folder for the items you don't use is what I do and probably the best idea to reduce the clutter on the launchpad window. Of course I rarely use launchpad since there's a nice dock to use.
