Launch pad transparent ?

Hello all,

is it correct that the launch pad on my MacBook with mavericks is sort of transparent ?
Because whenever I have a safari site open and launch the launch pad, it seems like the cursor changes it's shape from a normal mouse symbol to an arrow up and so on. So, when there is much text on a safari site, the cursor becomes this shape of a line like if you would copy a text when you are on that spot.
I hope you know what I mean.

No I'm not clear what you mean at all. Launchpad and the cursor are entirely separate things. Perhaps worth restating what you are referring to...
