Hi. I need to run an application called OPNET remotely from my Mac for some school work. OPNET is installed on UNIX machines at my university, and to run OPNET from my Mac I run it via SSH in X11. Everything works fine except that I can't open web links from within OPNET. This is kinda a problem because all the help files are on web pages, so whenever I need to access the help files I need to go to school.
In OPNET there is a preference for which web browser to use and it is currently set to "netscape" because Netscape is the only browser on the UNIX machines at school. Any idea what I would have to set this preference to in order to launch Safari on my Mac (or any other Mac web browser)? I tried "Safari" and "/[name of harddrive]/Applications/Safari.app", but neither worked.
Or, is there maybe a way to set preferences in X11 so that any web links in X11 programs are automatically routed to Safari?
Thanks in advance for any help!
