So, I downloaded this game off the internet, and it comes with this DMG file. I mount it and open it, and the folder it opens the game is there. I got the game icon from that folder and dragged it to Launchpad, and I ejected the volume. Then I tried to open the app through Launchpad but the icon just has a question mark on top. I don't want to keep opening the DMG file, I just want to fire it up as any app you get from the Mac App Store. Please help

If you eject the dmg, the link from within Launchpad to your app is lost:
You have to:
1. open the dmg
2. copy-paste the program icon from the opening folder in finder into your "programs" directory.
3. fire it up.
Enjoy the game!
