Launchpad crashes a lot

Is it just me, or does Launchpad crash a TON?

Basically whenever I want to move an app in Launchpad––especially if I am trying to drag it atop another app to make a folder, or put it in an existing folder––the whole thing freezes and then the Dock.app restarts.

Launchpad has never crashed for me, as far as I can remember.

Nope, totally not photoshopped. That's only happened to me once, but it has crashed a bunch.

That's really weird. Looks like it's applying a "Crystallize" core image effect to the icons for whatever reason...

(Sorry that I can't be more helpful)

EDIT: Now that I think about it, there's probably simply a bug with selecting the right core image filter. The one that is supposed to be applied is the one that adds a drop shadow to the icon.
